Fall Recreation Classes 2008


Archery
Saturday Archery is structured off of the NASP (National Archery in the Schools) program. NASP uses time proven and state-of-the-art training techniques, philosophies and educational methods to provide a foundation to support a lifetime of archery enjoyment. All participants will use compound bows provided by the school, which are adjustable from 10-20 lbs. Please do not bring your own bows. The Saturday Archery program is open to individuals ages 7 and up. Space is limited. A minimum of 10 participants is required.


Basketball Open Gym
Basketball open gym is open to middle school and high school boys and girls. Shoot around or start up a game. It’s a great way to get active.


DDR (Dance, Dance Revolution) Open Gym
DDR is a great active video game that gets you up and moving. Challenge your coordination, get a workout and have fun while dancing to the music! Open to individuals ages 7 and up. It’s a great for both parents and kids. Space is limited!


Dodgeball for Young and Old
The game of dodgeball is set up to get you active and have a little bit of competitive fun. Bring back the skills from your school days and get a great workout. Space is limited so sign up today!!


Indoor Rock Climbing
The indoor rock wall located at Riverview Middle School has 5 runs and challenges every climber. This event is open to individuals ages 5 and up. Adult supervision required for children under the age of 12. Space is limited!


Parent Shopping Day
Parents, do you need a little extra time to shop for the holidays without the kids? Here is your opportunity. We will be offering a morning of fun, games, arts and crafts, snacks, movies and more. Open to kids ages 5-11.


Recreation Ropes Course Climb
The Ropes Course Rock Climb is open to adults and students ages 7 and up. The course offers two rock walls, consisting of a 40ft. climb. This is an event you won’t want to miss!! Parental consent is required for all individuals under the age of 18. In order to run the event we require a minimum of 10 participants.
